RE: 'Buy Local' Week - November 16th-22nd:
If I was to ask any residents of Market Harborough what they thought about the town and its facilities, I'm pretty confident that the vast majority would be very proud and grateful to be living here.
Not surprising really - it's a great market town with great history, great traditions and (mostly!) lovely people!
And one thing that makes our market town so great is the tradition of local trading with great independently owned local businesses proudly serving their local community.
But can you imagine how our town would be if they closed and were forgotten about, replaced by the large national companies?
You can help prevent that from happening by always supporting your favourite local businesses at any time, as recommended on the bestof Market Harborough, by being more selective with your shopping and taking advantage of the special personal service you'll receive.
Write a short review - either on their facebook page or by filling out one of their review cards - (just ask for one) and as always, we will enter your email address into our monthly prize draws when you'll have a chance to win £100.
BUY LOCAL CAMPAIGN WEEK
Now of course you don't have to wait until the campaign week, but during the week commencing 16th November, watch out for us in the town and market place, because we will be especially campaigning to persuade you to 'buy local' more often and support small businesses by leaving more written reviews - please stop us for a chat and pick up some special goodies from us!
And during that week, you will have the chance to win a very useful £100 voucher in our EVERY DAY draws just for giving a review (just a few sentences) of your favourite bestof market harborough businesses!
All reviews are published on line and are such a help to those businesses who rely on you talking about your experiences and the service you've received and sharing your views for others to see. It gives them a fantastic boost to find new customers and of course they love and appreciate reading your comments.
And this year, the businesses with the most reviews will go forward in our quest to find 'Market Harborough's Business Of The Year' award.
You can always give a review (writing a few lines about who and why you think they're so great) either by filling out a review card in the shop/business, or by searching for your favourite businesses on The Bestof Market Harborough website and then leaving your comments and details on the 'Leave a Review' tab.

It's really very easy to do. And if you are reading this, you have probably already registered with us (which will save time), and you can complete the task in literally just a few minutes! Oh, and if you can't find a particular business on the site, please RECOMMEND them to us so we can get them involved too.
We are going to have some fun in November, so please support the campaign and vote for your great Market Harborough local traders by filling out loads of review cards or by going online and leaving your comments. Of course the more reviews you write, the more chances you'll have of winning those daily £100 vouchers!
