Harborough's Seven Locks Housing is offering apprenticeship places to two of its unemployed tenants.

They've also teaming up with South Leicestershire College to offer support to its residents who are looking to return to work.

The project will help them to build their confidence, gain new skills and work towards employment or continuing education.

Staff from the college will be running the sessions and will discuss individual circumstances to assess learning needs which will include a short literacy and numeracy assessment.

Attending the sessions will help prepare applicants for two 18-month apprenticeships with Seven Locks Housing as a customer service advisor and a business and administration assistant.

Any tenants who are interested in joining the project or applying for one of the apprenticeship vacancies should go along to an information session being held at the Naseby Square Community Hall in Stuart Road, Market Harborough, on Monday June 11th between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

For more details call 0116 264 3535.
