Jimmy White was in Market Harborough on Saturday at The Cannon Snooker Club for an evening of exhibition snooker.
I have met a number of celebrities of late and must say that Jimmy comes out at the top when it comes to consideration for the people he meets.
His snooker was first class as always and everyone who played him got what they needed from their frame. Jimmy White has a knack of knowing who needs a hard professional frame and who needs a bit of humility. Everyone had a fantastic evening including myself.
After the half time interval interval Jimmy presented Ian with the prestigious Best of Market Harborough business award for the Best New Business in Market Harborough as voted for by the people of Market Harborough.
Well done to Ian and all his staff for making this a really special evening of snooker and entertainmnet for everyone that attended.
I would like to wish Jimmy White all the best for the world snooker championships.
