Market Harborough and Leicestershire Businesses invited to Franchise Networking Hour….
Local businesses, particularly those who have useful B2B services aimed at small businesses and start ups, are being invited to the launch of a major exhibition on June 20th.
The East Midlands Franchise Show is to be staged at the Leicester Racecourse Conference Centre for the third consecutive year and features over 35 franchise and business opportunities, all of whom have licenses available for Leicestershire and beyond.
Exhibition organiser Louise Remfry explains:
"Our exhibition launch is a great networking event for Leicester small business service providers. It means they can introduce themselves, and their company services, to the exhibiting national franchises - all of whom hope to soon set up a base in and around Leicester in the immediate future"
Mrs Remfry also points out that delegates attending the launch will enjoy the chance to detect early signs of industry trends.
"Franchising is a consumer fashion detector - even in times of economic slowdown. Visitors to an exhibition like this during the early 1990s recession would have had seen the barometer point to, for example, sandwich bar outlets such as Subway & coffee shop chains like Costa - which clearly turned out to be huge industries
At the moment, the pendulum is swinging more equally between service industries to the public (mobile car vehicle repairs, healthy food concepts) and home based business orientated franchises (business coaches, kids learning & play, marketing consultants)"
Businesses can register for free tickets for the networking events by looking online at
www.eastmidlandsfranchiseshow.co.uk. The networking session is open between 9.30am
and 10.30am. Entrance is free.
Organisers encourage all participants of the networking hour try to bring along a guest,
who may be interested in running their own new business.
