Well in case you hadn’t noticed it’s election year and we have arranged for the business owners of Market Harborough to be able to speak to their local candidates.

Our next monthly meeting on 28th April will become a neutral political forum. We have invited all parties if they wish to attend and most have already confirmed as you can see from the list below.

 

Members of the Market Harborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce will have the opportunity to field questions to the candidates which promises to make it a very interesting evening.

Conservative - Edward Garnier

Libral Democrats - Zuffar Haq

UKIP – Marietta King

Independent – Jeffery Stephenson

BNP – Geoffrey Dickens

Labour – Kevin McKeever

English Democrats – David Ball

 

Potential candidates have until 4pm Tuesday  to submit their applications.

 

We are expecting a big turnout for the evening with over 100 active members it is a popular night in the monthly business calendar. The local newspapers and radio stations have said they will be covering the event. ITN news are invited as are central news.

 

We look forward to seeing the business owners of Market Harborough at the event being held at The Angel Hotel on Wednesday 28th April 2010 starting at 6.30 for open networking with the meeting beginning at 7.00pm as normal.
