... Comments
The Trading Standards are making people aware of a postal scam which has been confirmed by Royal Mail in a recent article in the media. Postcards are being mailed through peoples doors notifying them of a missed delivery from PDS (Postal Delivery Service) that they were unable to deliver a parcel and the contact number is an 0900 number (which is a premium rate) to contact them. When you ring the number there is a recorded message but you will have been billed £15 just for dialing it. If you recieve such a postcard let the Royal Mail fraud department know on 0207 239 6655 or contact ICSTICS (the premium rate service regulator) www.icstics.org.uk
