Recommended restaurants in and around Market Harborough competed against each other in Thebestof Market Harborough business award for the best restaurant. The route to the winner’s enclosure was a simple one, the restaurant with the most votes from their customers were the winners. So the people of the Market Harborough and South Leicestershire have the power to decide who wins this prestigious award.

 

The competition was fierce from the start as each of the businesses got their customers to join in the fun. Early on The Rio Bravo took the lead but Webb’s Café Bistro and The Angel Hotel were in for the long haul and consistently got votes over the month.  In the last week it was The Angel Hotel who fitness showed through to reach the winning post with the most votes for their services. New testimonials came through too showing that the customers were very happy with the food, service and environment they were being offered.

 

To celebrate this magnanimous feat of winning such a fantastic award for their restaurant The Angel Hotel were presented the award during an evening of song and enjoyment by David Kent a recommended entertainer from the local area. The award was presented by Thebestof Market Harborough MD and Market Harborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce President John Hill. On receiving their award Kevin said “This is a great honour for us at The Angel Hotel, to know that our customers are happy to vote for us in these awards makes us feel proud of our hotel and the service we provide. We know that our customers are what make this place special and we get on very well with so many of them. We would like to thank every one of them that took the time and trouble to vote and in many cases wrote us a testimonial too.”

 

John Hill on presenting the awards said” This is a great honour for me these are truly great businesses who really care about their customers and involve themselves in the local community supporting events and local needy causes. The great thing is when we run the award again next year we will see people supporting these businesses again. I would also like to thank David Kent for allowing us to interrupt his evening show to present the award.”
