The programme currently being made is a formatted factual series, with observational documentary elements, that follow the three different sides of burglary – the initial burglary call out; the police successfully tracking down those responsible; and telling the stories of stolen goods reunited with their original owners.
Another aspect of the show which the BBC are keen to cover are the various initiatives and resources that local community groups up and down the country may use in regards to crime prevention, and in helping individuals that have been victims of crime. It would be great to hear from anyone if you feel that they have had any succesful initiatives in combatting burglary/ Robbery or car crime in their areas.
It would be great to hear back from people if they have any unique stories where they may have been victims of crime and through the help of Nieghbourhood Watch Schemes or the Police to track down those responsible and have those items returned back to them.

Neighbourhood Watch schemes are community initiatives that are supported by the police but not owned or run by them.
