Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Desborough at around 5.15pm on Saturday 17 September. The incident took place at a scooter rally at Desborough Cricket Club.
A 51-year-old man had been playing with his band at the event. As he was on stage packing away his equipment, a man approached him and threw an object at the victim’s face. The victim received severe cuts to his lip, requiring hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man, 5f10 to 5ft11 and of stocky build. He had dark brown shaved hair and a distinctive bent nose. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and dark jeans.
