Top networking event, Business for Breakfast, is set to make its debut in Melton Mowbray, starting May 27th. This event is set to be a regular fixture at the town’s popular Quorn Lodge Hotel. Local business people will have the opportunity to share breakfast with like minded entrepreneurs alternate Thursday mornings from 6.45am to 8.30am.
The concept of Business for Breakfast was developed by John Fisher in 2001 as a direct need to generate increased levels of sustainable business referrals whilst he was working for a major international insurance company. As Managing Director John is still actively involved running the company from the head office in Manchester and is looking at taking the concept into international markets.
In the early years John with his wife Mel built up and ran many successful Breakfast Clubs in the North West of England, piloting what is now a very refined and successful proven referrals meetings system that works “best” for its members.
These meetings provide a forum for like minded business people to meet, enabling them to pool the resources of their contacts to generate referrals for each other’s businesses and to share business experiences for the benefit of their collective knowledge.
Business for Breakfast in Melton Mowbray is run by local businesswoman, Joan Edwards, who sees this as a way to connect local businesses. "It's a well known fact that a business referral generates 80% more results than a cold call and that approximately 70% of all jobs are found through networking," explains Joan. "Now, more than ever, business people need to get out there and network with other like-minded individuals - it's vital as a means of supplementing their marketing efforts, meeting useful new contacts, and improving their order books. Why not enjoy a relaxed and informal occasion whilst savouring the delights of the Quorn Lodge Hotel’s excellent breakfasts.
The Quorn Lodge hotel is situated at 46 Asforby Road and has a large car park to the rear. and. Find out more at http://www.quornlodge.co.uk/
