Hallsorts Carpets and Rugs, owned by Simon and Dawn Hall and based in Melton Mowbray has yet again won the annual Tradesmen business award, organised by thebestof Melton Mowbray. The winners received their engraved glass award and certificate at a networking event attended by local businesses last week, at The Eating House Restaurant on Sherrard Street.
Thebestof Melton Mowbray, which promotes local businesses, launched the first local business awards back in late 2007, to help small to medium sized companies increase their profile in the local area.
Awards have included 'Best Tradesmen' 'Best New Business' and Best Family Business' and local people vote online by choosing their favourite tbusiness. With over 30 years experience in the carpet business, Simon Hall, as well as being an experienced carpet fitter, also provides a home or businesses carpet selection service to supply carpets and specially edged rugs. On thebestof Melton Mowbray website, they have have outstanding reviews from local people. Delivery explained well. Will recommend to anyone.' Of Apex Building Services, Nicolas wrote, 'Les and his team have done a few jobs for us and I can honestly say they are truly professional in every way. Always reliable, honest and tidy. They even go that extra mile and looked after the dog while the building was going on.....!! Would definitely highly recommend them.'
