Owned and run by husband and wife team, Diana and Ivan Thompson, they have been established for over 18 years. As Diana says, 'We pride ourselves on having the best. We do not cut corners, and only serve quality.' As you would expect, Thompson's offer a wide variety of fresh and cooked meats. They cook all their own hams and make their own haslet and sausages.
This award has been run throughout the month of April, and has been voted for by the general public on the local website, the best of Melton Mowbray.
