Pizza Express Celebrates 50 Years With New Opening At The Hub Milton Keynes
20 new jobs as new restaurant team prepares to stretch, toss and serve
15,000 pizzas in its first month
Pizza lovers and bargain hunters are in for a treat with the opening of a brand new PizzaExpress restaurant at The Hub Milton Keynes.
The new restaurant can seat 130 people and means jobs for 20 new team members, comprising four pizzaiolos and 16 waiters and waitresses. An estimated 8,000 kilos of dough will be used in the first month as the team prepares to serve up 15,000 pizzas and 10,000 portions of PizzaExpress’ iconic Dough Balls.
Demelza Epps, manager of PizzaExpress The Hub Milton Keynes, said, “It’s 50 years since the first PizzaExpress opened on Wardour Street in London’s Soho, and now the team can’t wait to welcome people to our newest restaurant.”
PizzaExpress exciting spring/summer menu has plenty of new options, including even more low calorie mains and desserts, a new range of premium pizzas, called Romana65, the return of some classic salads, the introduction of new salads, new gluten-free recipes and summery desserts.
For younger pizza-lovers, PizzaExpress’ Piccolo menu is full of tasty choices including ‘Create Your Own’ pizza, and starts at just £3.95. And for budding chefs looking to celebrate a birthday, a Pizza Making Party will see them transformed into pizzaiolos so they can stretch, toss and top their own pizza and play party games before sitting down to enjoy their culinary creations.
