If its car boot sales you like, we’ve got details of 3 that are close to us here in Monmouth. They are at different times throughout the day, so if you like an early morning car boot, Usk Cricket Club holds theirs from 8am until 12pm every Sunday, so you’ve still got the rest of the day to do whatever you like. Whereas if early Sunday mornings aren’t your thing, you can go to Pen-Y-Fal Car Boot at 10am until 2pm. Or if that’s STILL too early for you, there is Ledbury Car Boot! This one is from 1pm until 4pm, so there really is a car boot sale to suit everyone from the early-birds to the late-risers!
We’ve also got a very handy section on our website that you might not have seen before. The cinema widget at the bottom of the homepage shows you at a glance all the films being shown at the Savoy in Monmouth. They’ve got some great films lined up, Prisoners, is a film about a man whose daughter goes missing, how far will a desperate father go to protect his family? This film sounds gripping, but is only for over 15s! And later this month they’re showing Justin and The Knights of Valour for the little ones (and grown-ups too of course!) about a young boy becoming a man as he embarks on a quest to become a knight.
