Last Friday’s Grease sing-a-long was electrifying- an utter success. It was my first show as a member of the Savoy staff and what a treat!
The film was shown in two parts with an interval allowing the audience to top up their wine glasses. Each guest was given a goodie bag which had props such as flags, balloons and party poppers. Before the film started our show host taught the audience some Grease moves and explained when to use their props. The turn out was great and I have to thank our audience; Monmouth’s very own Pink Ladies, Sandy’s and Beauty School Drop Outs (not forgetting the odd Tbird!) who did not disappoint when asked to bring out their dance moves and singing voices.
