The Friday Lunch Club hosted by Harrison, Clark and Shawcross in conjunction with the best of Monmouth and Abergavenny saw over 30 attendees get together for a networking lunch at the Red Deli and Diner on April 12th. These informal networking gatherings have been growing in popularity and numbers are increasing now that the best of is involved , according to Julia Stahl from Harrison, Clark and Shawcross The event is free and includes a sit down buffet lunch, so much easier than trying to hold a plate in one hand!
The atmosphere is relaxed with a chance to mingle and chat plus an opportunity for everyone to talk about their business to the whole group. Although there was a seemingly diverse range of specialisms and skills it was clear, within minutes, that connections were being made and ways of working together being forged. There was also the clear determination to support what the best of stands for, namely to keep our local economies thriving and to provide future employment for the young people of our county.
Businesses represented included solicitors, estate agents, de- clutterers, entertainment, independent financial advisors, marketing solutions, business services, copywriting, IT system and support, advice for start-up companies and educationalists
