Pass Plus Courses

Valley School of Motoring is currently registered with Pass Plus Cymru Wales, which allows you to carry out the pass plus course for £20.00.  On completion of the course it allows you extra discounts with some insurance companies.  A list is provided.

Advanced Driving Courses

Valley School of Motoring can prepare and train you to a level where you can sit either the DIAmond Advanced Driving Test, the IAM Advanced Driving Test or the ROSPA Advanced Driving Test.

To give you an idea of the level of standard you need to reach, the current DSA Driving Test allows you up to 15 minor driving faults in approx 40 minutes.  The DIAmond Advanced Motorist Test allows a maximum of 6 minor faults in 60 minutes of driving, over a wide range of road types and conditions.

Taxi Training Courses

The Taxi Assessment Test is reflective of modern driving practices, the standard is set at a level suitable for the full driving licence holder, which is therefore higher than the Learner Driver Test.

To pass, you are permitted to accumulate up to 9 driving faults, anything over and above this will result in a fail.
