Our guest Jane chose one of the coldest weekends of the year for her wedding to Ben. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed at Compton House, Newark and had a cosy supper the night before, sitting infront of the fire before an early night-and an incredibly early morning start with the hairdresser and glasses of champagne, coming down for breakfast in their PJ’s during the morning, a really happy atmosphere.
It had snowed during the night and everywhere looked white and wonderful, and so did Jane. The whole family and the bridemaids looked beautiful and the two tiny bridesmaids were sweet with their little fur capes. We saw them off on a freezing morning, and welcomed them home with the balcony lights twinkling in the snow. Congratulations to Jane and Ben
