Typical! A week of sunshine and a weekend of rain. Really affects the workers! Been a mixed seven days; from partying in the paddock to breaking down on the way to an appointment and being unable to claim on warranty. I have to however say a big thank you to Richard at Crystals Nissan http://www.thebestof.co.uk/grantham/46407/1/1/the_best_of.aspx who effectively and sensitively dealt with a distraught woman and the RAC who 'picked me up' so to speak on the A1.

Welcome to Bob Galley of Staythorpe Wedding Service, Gwen and Colin of Whites Fine Foods Ltd on Appletongate Newark, The Lord Nelson at Winthorpe (who have taken on a new chef watch this space) and Robbie Fitzpatrick (a jockey) at Jolly Jungle Playland off the Northern Road, Newark.
Whilst I was waiting for Robbie, I have to say the Playland was packed with mums and children and the service was fab. The girls were really solicitous.
