The girls decided to go out this week - just a few drinks, get to know each other a little better. We have all networked together for a while now, years in fact, at a breakfast club called BNI and whilst we know each others businesses inside out and enjoy a cooked breakfast together every Tuesday morning, a natter and a lot of laughs, it would be fair to say that we don't really know each other that well. Surreal liaising with people for so long and only knowing 'bits and bobs' about them. So when Kim from UK Waste sent an email suggesting a girls night out we all jumped on the bandwagon.
It was a great night out. We met at the brilliant Farndon Boathouse near Newark; no accoustic band but probably best so we could do what girls do best - talk! We had a few rounds of drinks, mostly non-alcoholic as most of us were driving, and chit chatted the night away. Lovely atmosphere, great venue and looking forward to next time when we will be wining and dining there for our Christmas party.
