Aloha! (I've pinched that from Mat at Stray's Coffee Shop!) Sunshine greeting on a wet Sunday morning.
Bit nervous about kicking this blog off so here goes:
Originally a city girl (London - arguably one of the best cities in the world) and having had a relatively exciting career working on two National Newspapers I found settling in this part of the world difficult. That is, until I launched The Best of Newark and The Best of Grantham. It's been such fun and I have met so many fantastic people along the way - many with diverse and interesting lives. My members include an extra for Trial & Retribution and Casualty, mums who are juggling two or three jobs married to Army or RAF boys, people who have relocated from warmer climes and clients who have toured with Dave Spikey (Phoenix Nights) Respect!
I hope to bring you news on what is going on in Newark and Southwell, who is launching what and any other tantalising pieces of information.
I have just signed up the most delicious shop in Southwell that sells mouth-watering homemade Belgian Chocolates. More about that next time
