Just got back from a week in Cornwall, chasing the sun from north to south coast; discovering awesome sandy, deserted beaches stretching for miles and blue sky spreading out to sea without a hint of cloud. Hobo (The Dog) was in his element surfing the waves and sprinting in and out of dunes. This was his first experience of the coast - and it was a great one for my rescue dog. Peter is a local artist who shows a wide selection of his popular landscapes of Britain, featuring misty lochs and mountains of the Isle of Skye, tranquil lakes and fells of the Lake District and brooding hills and moors of North Yorkshire and the Peak District. Also showing at the moment in the art gallery is Linda Atkinson who is exhibiting examples of her beautiful portraits of dogs, all painted in oils. 10% from each commission will be donated to the R.S.P.C.A Radcliffe Animal Shelter.
