Our “Love your Local Market” in Newbury will see a new variety of stalls this Saturday including unique handbags by local designer Sadie Fisher, unusual gifts for the home and garden by Glynis’s Garden, beautiful jewellery by Lana, “Sweet Trees” by Kelly and children’s accessories by Dinky Tots.
We invite you to come and discover the new stalls and enjoy our traditional Market.
Recent studies show that, on average, shoppers can save 32 per cent buying fruit & veg from market stalls compared to supermarkets. So, instead of your usual supermarket shop come and see for yourself!
Cllr Julian Swift-Hook, Leader of Council said, “Our Market is a focal point in the town and we hope that events such as this will bring new customers to our Market and opportunities for new traders to have a go at market trading.”
We encourage everyone to visit the market on Saturday 23 June 2012 both to check out the new stalls and to support the long-standing traders, who provide a wonderful service to our community, come rain or shine.
