Market stallholders are appealing for the town council’s approval to move their stalls to Newmarket's High Street.
Currently situated on the Market Square, stallholders feel hidden away and hope a relocation to the High Street would increase customer footfall.
Market trade, recently has seen a significant decline, a decline which has also been felt throughout much of the rest of town.
Moving location, the stallholders believe, will revive the market and benefit both the stalls and high street shops.
