The sweets are starting to creep in at work, mince pies are lighting up the shelves in the shops and waistbands are starting to sigh in anticipation!
Keep fit until the bearded man's big day on the 25th Decemeber so you can say yes to that extra portion and in the meantime, make new friends with a new hobby by way of Newmarket Badminton Club.
Badminton is an Olympic sport enjoyed by many, and can be taken as seriously or lightly as you wish, as it requires and develops great skill and energy whilst being great fun at the same time!
The club is hosted at Scaltback Middle School on Elizabeth Avenue in the town, with all ages welcome with a junior club on a Friday and mixed teams available so everyone in your household can get involved.
