Summer is on the horizon and so is our summer fit body. Ok, so you may just about believe the first part, but many of us, will probably be wondering how on earth we are going to achieve a summer perfect body.
I have a suggestion – how about you kickbox yourself fit? The Ellesmere Centre in Stetchworth, Newmarket will be holding Kickbox Fit classes for all those who wish to not only look good but feel good too.
There is a common misconception of what is involved in kickboxing. You will be pleased to hear that it is a non-contact fitness class (so you don’t need to worry about getting beaten up every Wednesday). Kickboxing incorporates various different forms of martial arts, Tae Kwon Do & Karate to name but a few. The classes are designed to increase fitness levels, through cardio workout and strength and endurance training.
Not only will kickboxing increase your fitness levels, it will help to burn excess fat therefore creating a leaner body (who would say no to that?). Along with the visible changes gained from regular kickboxing, it is the perfect way to relieve stress after a long day at work or looking after the children. It is also proven to improve co-ordination, strength and stamina.
Taking place at the Ellesmere Centre near Newmarket, Kickbox Fit classes cater for all fitness levels and no previous experience is required. To attend the classes you must be over 16 years old.
Kickbox Fit classes are currently being held every Wednesday between 7-8pm. The first class is free, giving you the opportunity to pop along and give it a go. If you wish to continue kickboxing your way to the perfect body, you can attend weekly for a small fee of £5 per class or £24 for six classes.
