Thebestof Newmarket is delighted to announce that a Newmarket business has been recognised as one of the most loved businesses in the country.
The nationwide poll was conducted by The Best Of website in the first two weeks of February this year and the British public voted in their tens of thousands for their Most Loved local businesses. The results were fittingly published on Valentines Day.
Richard Corbett Photography was voted the Most Loved Business in Newmarket and the 4th Most Loved Photographer in the UK.
Richard Corbett, who has run his photography business out of Newmarket for seven years, was delighted with the accolade: “It’s great to be recognised by my customers
– not just for creativity and great pictures but for the whole package.”
“My wedding clients always give me great feedback, often by way of personal Thank You cards”, commented Richard, who lives in Newmarket with his wife Katie and three children.
He went on to say, “To have generated such a large, positive and public response not just from wedding clients, but corporate and portrait customers too, was really gratifying. I was extremely surprised and flattered.”
Richard sent details of the poll to his customers and asked if they would be prepared to recommend him on The Best Of website, expecting a few responses. However, he believes that more than half of his customers, past and present, submitted a testimonial.
“The testimonials that came through the website were incredible – I had some exceptional comments about my style of photography and the standards of the business as a whole,” said Richard.
"It’s a great comfort knowing I’m doing something right and a reassurance for future customers. It’s a bit like the 5 stars on a movie review – new customers should feel comfortable that they will receive a great service."
