All Saints Primary School on Vicarage Road in Newmarket may be a football pitch better off by the end of this year, following a three year campaign to persuade the Forest Heath District Council to part with some of its land for the children.
The school is attached to a large expanse of paddock area which would be perfect for keeping our little ones fit and healthy, and encouraging a more proactive adoption of sport and exercise again in to their routines.
The campaign included a petition and several meetings to get heard, and it’s heading towards being agreed by the council subject to planning permission.
