Christmas is certainly a time for giving, and you won't find many causes more deserving that the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The service covers Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, offering urgent ambulance services to anywhere in the region within 25 minutes, with specialist medical crews to provide the all-important lifesaving knowledge to where it's needed as quickly as possible.
From road accidents to heart attacks, to children who need urgent help, you can never predict where or when a potentially fatal incident could strike.
However, the East Anglian Air Ambulance need funding to continue this service. Did you know that if everyone in the region donated just £2, it would keep their two helicopters flying for a year? Just £2 can keep this incredibly worthwhile and important service going for another 365 days.
You can donate your £2 (or more of course!) on the EAAA website, but they also have a range of fundraising activities to suit any pocket. People who buy their Christmas tree from Elveden Estate this year could have a helping hand with transport, as the East Anglian Working Newfoundland Dogs Team will help you take your tree to your car for a donation.
Or why not join them at Destiny's Nightclub for live comedy, live music and dancing at their Christmas Cracker party, in aid of the service?
Alternative, if you are feeling more generous, the service are hosting their annual Gala Dinner at The Great Hall at Kings College. Tickets are £75, with a choir, a professional opera singer as entertainment and an auction, all for this great cause.
