As Newmarket locals bathe in some of the hottest weather we have seen all year, members of Newmarket Town Council have been turning their attention to what to do with this year's Christmas tree.
A £4,600 budget has been agreed to move the town's tree to a new location this December.
The tree has previously stood at Rutland Hill in High Street, but the council has agreed that this Christmas, the tree will be moved to the recently developed pedestrian area next to the Clocktower.
