2417 Newmarket Squadron is part of the nationwide Air Training Corps, it is for young people aged between 13 and 17 and adults to assists as instructors.
The Air Training Corps offers opportunities to young men and women to experience service life, to take part in all kinds of sporting and adventure training, flying and gliding, music, parades and drill, shooting, Duke of Edinburghs award and much more. There is also the chance to gain qualifications in Public Services and other areas.
The Air Cadets is open to all young people aged between 13 and 17 We are also open to adult volunteers who which to help in all aspects of training and supervising our young people progress in their cadet career.
