We have been challenged by the team at Gwent Wildlife Trust to take part in #30DaysWild in June.
I’m always up for a challenge, and so I signed up here!
When you sign up for 30 Days Wild, you’ll receive a pack of wild goodies, plus lots of ideas from your Wildlife Trust to inspire you to go wild. You can also have the pack emailed to you, so plenty of time still to sign up.
Basically, the challenge is to get you to do something to do with nature every day in June. In essence, just one simple, fun ‘Random Act of Wildness’ every day that can either be suggested, or that I have made up!
Some examples they suggest are shutting your eyes to listen to a bird song, or taking a wild walk at lunchtime. Lie back in the long grass, or search out wildlife in your garden.
I can see this being quite big on social media. The twitter hashtag is #30DaysWild – I look forward to seeing what everyone ends up doing!
If you are stuck for ideas, why not visit Magor Marsh? You will find a blog from our Marshy Monday trip here!
