Well the warmer weather is definitely with us. Here are some tips for your garden this month:

Organise care for your houseplants while on holiday
Water your plants thoroughly once a week
Deadhead your bedding plants and repeat-flowering perennials to ensure you continue to have a colourful display
Pick any courgettes before they become marrows
Clear algae, weeds and debris from your garden ponds, and keep them topped up
Think about what bulbs you are going to plant for next year's spring display
Give your grass a quick-acting summer feed to ensure it is looking its best
Harvest apricots, peaches and nectarines
Ensure your birdbath is topped up regularly
Mow your lawn weekly and keep on top of any weeds
Plant winter brassicas such as brussel sprouts and kale
