Owner Krishna Vithani set up her highly regarded salon in Holywood five years ago and now employs a team of five therapists working from four treatment rooms.

Krishna was particularly delighted to be able to offer a full range of services for pregnant women in the Holywood and Bangor area with the introduction of the award-winning Mama Mio range in June 2007, which includes specialised massages, spa treatments, products and gift boxes.

It is also rare to encounter a beauty salon that caters so well for men with a number of specialised treatments available at Karma including cut-throat shaving, manicures and pedicures, vitamin facial treatments, massages and waxing – incorporating chest,back, abdomen, arm, leg, full bikini and eyebrows.

For both men and women there is a huge selection of  specialised treatments for the face and body, amongst them hot stone massages, Indian face and head massages, Reiki, 3D eyelash extensions, oxygen facial treatments and body pampering  spa packages.

That is all in addition to the more traditional beauty salon services including Fake Bake tanning, eyelash and eyebrow tinting and waxing, facials, make up for special occasions, manicures, pedicures, waxing and electrolysis.

A member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmotologists), Karma beauty salon is based on Holywood’s busy High Street just a few miles outside Bangor on the main A2 road.

The salon is open from 9.30am – 6pm Monday and Friday; and from 9.30am to late on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Saturdays Karma opens from 10am – 4pm.
