Great food at reasonable prices can sometimes be hard to come by these days, but if you look down a little 'Back Street¹ in Bangor, you¹ll find a bistro that offers just that.
Back Street Bistro in Bangor is one of the town¹s newest restaurants, which serves up quality bistro food in a warm, ambient environment. In short, Back Street Bistro just off High Street on Holborn Avenue, Bangor, has something for everyone.
The restaurant is owned by David Moore, who has been a chef in the business for over 23 years, 7 of which were spent working in London. The Bistro has been fully refurbished into a trendy brasserie, reminiscent of the chic, modern décor of restaurants like London¹s The Ivy, where David trained. The Bistro has become well renowned with the locals and visitors alike as the Bistros stylish decor and friendly staff add to the warm ambience. The contemporary interior contains artwork by a local artist and has a fresh upbeat atmosphere.
There you can dine and relax in style whether you choose to eat in the restaurant or in the more informal bistro.
The mouth-watering essence of Back Street Bistro¹s food owes itself to a combination of exceptional cooking and utilising only the best local and fresh ingredients. David even prefers to bake his own bread and whips up the bistro¹s delicious ice cream!
