So I'm sitting in the back seat of a taxi in Belfast and realised exactly why they call it a 'taxi rank' - this was one rank car.
Not only was the back of the car messy, but the smell of cigarette smoke from either the driver or a recent passenger was pretty foul. And the pine tree hanging from the mirror had no chance of winning.
So I thought it would be interesting to have a rant, and then highlight the best taxi rides you've had in North Down.
Which is the best taxi company around? I don't take them a lot thanks to a wife who prefers to drive and do without a drink, so I don't have a lot of personal experience. But there must be some great taxis around. So who are they?
