Miller’s Stars is a charity started by a couple who had a beautiful baby boy but unfortunately he was born sleeping. Miller was born without a heartbeat on the 14th of January 2016. Heartbroken by this monumental tragedy – after spending some time with their still born son they decided to start raising money to remember him. Then they set up their own charity in Miller’s name to help ensure his legacy was long lasting.
Millers Star’s was created to help other parents going through this same heart-breaking situation. Chereè and Phil took comfort in being able to purchase symbolic items that reminded them of their baby boy and helped them with closure. This charity was started so other parents would not have to worry about money in this time. The money raised would go towards funding memorial items for parents.
Money is not always readily available and at the worst of times a little gesture can go a long way to helping people cope with what can easily be described as the hardest time of their lives. Chereè and Phil want to gift memories to grieving parents in Miller’s name and keep his legacy going for as long as they can.
Miller’s Stars and Raunds Town Football Club are hosting a Charity Football Match with plenty of family activities to keep the kids occupied. It will be held on Sunday the 17th of July 2016 at Raunds Town Football Club, Kiln Park Road, Raunds, NN9 6EQ. Gates will open at 12pm with kick off scheduled for 1pm. Entry is free for children and £3 per adult. There will be stalls, a fully stocked bar, food and drink, vintage cars, kids rides and much more! Miller’s Stars will be playing Celeb FC with some big names turning up! Remember this is all in the name of Charity and is a family day out so get involved as it will be a day to remember.
