We had a bit of networking evening with a difference last night. We, and some of our members went to The Guildhall in Northampton for a tour. And what a tour it was! We viewed the Great Hall in all it's splendour and were taken down into the vaults where we saw the old cells that were used to hold prisoners before they were executed.
Upstairs there is a long corridor with plaques of the names of every Mayor, dating back to around 1312. Some were missing between 1312 and 1322 because of a great fire they had in this time. The history was fascinating and people really seemed to enjoy it.
Headed onto The Mailcoach where Sue and Lionel had put on some tapas for us. A very lovely evening with some really nice members there.
Alan Wigg from Parrs Motor Spares, Alan Linney from EBS Distribution, Rita Robins from Castle Coachworks, Duncan Clark from Horts Estate Agents, Gavin Hills from in.house.media, Andy Robins from Robins and Co Accountants, to name but a few.
Had a great night and the stuffed mushrooms were to die for!
