St Mary's Day Nursery, Hexham is based in the grounds of St Mary’s 1st School Yard, Hexham. Our accommodation in Hexham enables us to separate our day-care and pre-school groups so that they each receive the childcare and nursery education to meet both children and parental needs.
All St Mary’s Day Nursery Staff in Hexham are qualified nursery nurses who receive ongoing training applicable to their job roles and responsibilities.

St Mary’s Nursery is now Organic during the school holidays with the view to becoming fulltime Organic in the near future. All our meat produce is from local Organic suppliers. We place a high emphasis upon quality and ethics, just as we do in implementing our policies across our setting, our other foods are of ethical origin and we buy fair-trade wherever possible
In 2005 St Mary’s Nursery , Hexham was awarded the ‘Healthy Pathways Award’ by Northumberland County Council recognising its place at the top day nursery providers.
St Mary’s Day Nursery, Hexham is open Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm (Early Bird 7.30am available prior booking only, subject to a small charge)
St Mary’s Day Nursery, Hexham is open on Saturdays 8.30am - 5.30pm for childcare by the hour/full day. Open for childcare to non registered children and visitors to the Hexham area. All Welcome.
Ask about our Out of School childcare, Holiday club childcare. Open to all school age children.
