"What a difference the sun makes; summer is no longer coming its here; but for how long?
Sometimes its easy to forget the seasons, when tucked away in the workshop, surrounded by boxes, meeting clients' wishes/hopes – our season is nearly always out of skew with the real world, selling cricket kits December to May, football kits during the Summer break to Christmas, we sell workwear all year, spiking in the Spring and Autumn as the seasons change.
The last few months have been a challenge for my 4trophies workshop team; with little space to work, a workshop filled with trophies, every client retained from last year and lots of new clubs buying from us, making for many 5AM starts but every deadline met!
Our reputation for producing beautifully finished product, competitively priced always delivered professionally wins us lots of new business. We currently have 7 new-to-us football clubs talking to us about moving their kit requirements to 4sports and the kit selling season has barely begun!
One club called me last Friday at 4pm asking for a quote, I apologised, saying I may not the get to you until tomorrow as ‘snowed’ the caller laughed … saying ‘I know I have made the right decision to move to 4sports as I asked my old (local) supplier for a quote 2 weeks ago and have chased them twice, and we have been buying from them for 20 years!
4work continues to supply businesses throughout the County and beyond; with some 5000 printed t-shirts supplied last 2 months together with the usual mix of 100 polo’s and 2 crop tops for a local biker
Our days are long but pass in a blink … supplying everything from pens to balls; we have a 1000 balls arriving tomorrow topping up our stocks for our clubs ready for next season – we really do need more space!
