One of the major florists in Norwich, Margaret Emms, is helping Norwich's charity, the Big C, to help fight against cancer.
Margaret Emms is donating 50p for every bouquet or flower arrangement with a value of £25 or more, ordered between now and Christmas.
Big C delivers services & funding for all aspects of the fight against cancer. They provide funding for research and clinical services and run a purpose built centre providing support, information and counselling for those affected by cancer. They also provide support for those with terminal cancer.
Mary Murray, owner of Margaret Emms said, "As a local florist we wanted to do something positive to help those around us who are affected by cancer and this seemed to be a way of raising quite significant funds for Big C over a short period of time. Donations will be made whatever the occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries and funerals. For bridal orders the donation will be increased to £5 and for those who visit the bridal floor at Big C's Timberhill shop in Norwich and pick up one of our leaflets with a Big C sticker attached, and bring it with them when they place their bridal order, we will donate £10."
As Margaret Emms not only deliver flowers in Norwich but to the whole of the UK and abroad, this is a great chance for local Norwich people to give to charity and surprise their loved ones with some wonderful flowers.
