Charisma is the Most Loved small business in Norwich, according to thebestof's massive nationwide search to find the best local shops and companies in towns and cities across the UK.

The results of the 2 week campaign reveal that Charisma, a Norwich beauty salon based in Cattlemarket Street, opposite the Mall, is the most loved beauticians, after 211 people recommended it.

Charisma is owned by Charlotte, a fantastic young Norwich businesswoman.

For most of her customers it’s not just the central location and relaxed atmosphere that make Charisma a winner, it’s the friendliness of the staff.

Not only was Charisma the “most loved” business in Norwich, they also came top in the UK for beauticians, massage and weight loss. What an achievement.

Three other Norwich businesses also achieved the recognition of “most loved” in the UK following the 14 days of voting by the UK public.

Fountain Partnership – another young business – came top in the UK for copywriting, Orb Organic Hair came top in the UK for hairdressers and The Hangman Curtains and Blinds came top for “curtains”.

None of these businesses are household names – they are all small independent businesses owned and run by (in many cases) young, dynamic Norwich business people, who put their heart into what they do and who were not scared to ask their clients for their support.

The ‘14 Days of Love’ campaign from TheBestOf generated over 138,000 testimonials from across the country.  More than 30,000 businesses drawn from almost 400 towns and spanning every business type - from hairdressers, tattoo artists, fitness instructors and bridal stores through to bouncy castles accountants, architects, solicitors - even dentists and funeral directors – all received nominations from their customers.

The Top 10 most loved small businesses in Norwich are: Charisma, Orb Organic Hair, Lauren Reeves, Illusions (nails and manicures), Beau Hair and Beauty, Fountain Partnership, Norwich Van Man, Hangman Curtains & Blinds, Impact and Hooloovoo.

Noticeable that  7 out of the top 10 most loved businesses in Norwich are hair and beauty businesses – not sure what that says about the people of Norwich.
