Sports enthusiasts will know that the Tour Of Britain is coming to Norfolk, passing through Norwich City Centre on the Kings Lynn to Great Yarmouth stage.

Estimates are that 70,000 people will be out to watch the race as it passes through Norfolk.

As part of the celebrations, Norfolk County Council are encouraging businesses to decorate their premises to show support for the tour with the winning entry receiving £1,000 and a VIP race day experience.

Either email marketing@norfolk.gov.uk, or call 01603 224471 for your free business pack containing posters, photos of the tour and 9 metres of bunting.

It could be a shop front, a reception, a car park; every business is welcome to enter.
Send Norfolk County Council your photo by email or post of your display by Thursday 9 September and a judging panel will visit the top five on Monday 13 September. Well worth an entry!

And of course if you are looking for a friendly independent cycle shop; give Paul at Velo Cycles a call on 01603 424499; he's on the Sprowston Road.
