EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS AT VICTORIA CENTRE’S NORDIC BRIGHTS EXPERIENCE
  • Victoria Centre, Lower Parliament St, Nottingham
    NG1 3QN
  • Friday 20th December - Until Sunday 5th January
Victoria Centre is excited to announce the return of Nordic Brights, marking its second annual event. From 20th December to 5th January, visitors can enjoy the magic of a wintery alpine forest Northern Lights simulation for free!

Take a trip to the wonderful world of an arctic woodland landscape to experience a magical journey with smells and sounds of a Nordic adventure and a new ‘ice tunnel’ experience. To start the journey, a Nordic character will greet guests and ask them each to ‘Spin the Wheel’ and be assigned a special explorer name before embarking on their quest to find six hidden Nordic animals.

Adding to the magical 20-minute immersive trail experience, there is a full-size sleigh for a fun photo opportunity and an activity table for children to make reindeer food to take home with them. Families can also take part in a snowball challenge and meet a friendly polar bear, marking the end of the memorising experience.

Nordic Brights is a completely free experience to book, but donations are welcome for Nottinghamshire Hospice.

Nigel Wheatley, Centre Director at Victoria Centre, commented: "Following the success of Nordic Brights last year, we’re excited to see it return to Victoria Centre this Christmas – but with even more activities!

“This enchanting experience adds to the buzzing atmosphere in the centre during the festive period and we are confident it will be a success with local families again this year. Whilst the event is free of charge, we encourage visitors to embrace the season of giving and donate in support of Nottinghamshire Hospice.”
