Following the success of last year’s showcase, this year’s event promises to be even more exciting with a range of student-designed fashion displays, stalls, interactive workshops and a catwalk show.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore fashion creations crafted by the talented students at Nottingham College, alongside hands on fashion and textiles workshops including activities such as illustration and crochet. These workshops will be open to everyone, with drop-in sessions also available throughout the week.
The pop-up will be located on the Upper Mall within Victoria Centre, making it easily accessible for visitors to discover the future of fashion, learn new skills and support local talent.
Nigel Wheatley, Centre Director at Victoria Centre, commented: “The Nottingham College Fashion Pop-Up is a great moment in the year for us to celebrate local students and we’re excited to bring it back yet again. It's wonderful to be able to showcase the creativity and skills of Nottingham’s emerging creators and we look forward to our visitors exploring the incredible work being produced.”
Samantha Crowe from Nottingham College added: “The Nottingham College Fashion Pop-Up has been a fantastic platform for our students to showcase their creativity and hard work. Last year’s event was a great success, and we’re excited to return to Victoria Centre this April to show the local community new designs and offer fun workshops.”
