Wonderful to hear the BBC's Gardener's Question Time team at The Oswestry Show - and giving their hearty congratulations for excellent show and top quality displays.
Well done to the Oswestry Show team!
This was the 124th event for The Oswestry & District Agricultural Society which has held a show almost every year since 1862. I say almost, because the only thing that have managed to get in the way have been two World Wars and Foot & Mouth.
It's a great day for lots of reasons - not least, it's an opportunity to show off Oswestry's agricultural heritage and knowledge through it's livestock, rare breeds, vintage farming machines and famous sheepdog trials.
Not to mention the trade stands and on-going entertainment.
Must take a huge amount of work to put together and organise.
