Bit of a country gourmet weekend coming up. We have the Continental Market throught the Streets of Oswestry wafting heavenly scents and selling all manner of breads, savouries, smelly cheeses and lipsmacking charcuterie.
The market will be on the Saturday and Sunday, as, by lovely coincidence, will be the 5th Oswestry Real Ale Festival at the Memorial Hall.
In the land of Serendipity, this would be the happiest of dipities, where by the laws of magical nature, beer and cheese, and good snackie food come together in lucky Oswestry.
for the more sporty of you, our Welsh Premier League Champions The New Saints are putting on a bus for eager fans to see the team in action against Bangor City in the semi final of the Welsh Cup.
A couple of casualties of the SNOW have been rescheduled.
Lancs v Yorks in the Da Big Cheese, a Cheese Club Special is now on Tuesday 9th April, at The Walls.
The Charity Dinner Auction Night in aid of Blue Cross is now on Friday 12th April.
Lets hope the weather stays as fantastic as it has been this week. Mr Blue Sky's back in town. Have a great weekend!
A quick introduction - I'm John Waine, Director of TheBestOfOswestry. Having lived in this beautiful area for around 20 years now, I have decided to stay. :)
With kind thanks
John
