Everyone knows that you are what you eat!
But many people don't realise the health benefits of the properties of the plants that surround us, whether simply in terms of the building blocks of good bodies- vitamins, collagens, proteins, but also how they can work in a healing nature.
The Garth Hillside Organic Garden manifested as a physical, spiritual and emotional response to climate change and the problems facing our natural world. Within its terraced gardens, among the fruit and vegetables are the herbs and plants that have, for centuries, provided us with natural healing.
Pip Waller is a medical herbalist, massage therapist, plant spirit medicine and advocate of holistic healing and the need for whole body mind care.
Her workshops on healing herbs are always very popular and she is holding an Autumn Workshop – Berries!, at The Garth Hillside Organic Garden on Saturday 6th October 2012.
Included in the workshop price of £35.00 will be an organic meal and drinks (with a discount for members of the Garth Garden).
For more information and to book on the workshop, call Jude on 01691 718127 or Charlotte on 01691 770628 or email garthorganic@gmail.co.uk.
