According to the Home Office, two women in
England and Wales are killed by their partner
or ex-partner every week.
Shocking isn't it?
Refuge UK is a charity which provides women and children with safe housing after escaping domestic violence, educates people about what domestic violence is and what the early signs are and also provides floating support in the community for women who are being abused which empowers them by making them realise they have a choice.
I am running the great Yorkshire run on the 5th of September this year because I believe no woman or child should experience abuse of any sort. They have the right to be free and happy to live their life how they choose.
I want to raise as much money as I can for them and am asking for your help to put an end to Domestic violence!
