Frugal thriftiness and nifty mending tips.
Tired of chucking out a pair of socks because one of them has developed a hole? Fed up with droopy hems or missing buttons? Want to know how to darn that hole, fix that hem and resew buttons?
Then Impending Mending is the event for you. Lauched by Becca Tansley and Glueing for Grownups, the workshop will show you how to darn, mend, take in and generally fix your clothes.
The event is completely free! All you need to bring is your mending problem and tea money (although a donation for materials would be appreciated).
It is happening on Monday April 20th from 10:00am – 3:00pm, upstairs at the Baby Bird Café, Cross Street, Oswestry.
Should you require sustenance, the café downstairs will be baking some rather lovely cakes’ and as we all know, making and caking go hand in hand.
For more information, please contact Becca Tansley on 07814 211974, or contact her via facebook: alterknitive.
